Admissions criteria

IBSA schools are inclusive. We welcome a wide range of learning profiles and encourage diversity.

Each member of the teaching team place great importance on the pedagogical success and integration of all pupils, including children with specific needs.

After a targeted assessment and the creation of Individualized Education Projects (IEPs), students with specific needs are integrated into common settings on a full-time basis. The school implements targeted resources for optimal supervision, and regular and standardized assessments of their progress. A learning assistant can be integrated into the team for further support for the student.

Entry test from GRADE 3

All students take an entrance test to assess their level and to better guide the teacher. These tests allow us to make correct orientations and react quickly in case of a need, to bring to the student what they need without losing time.

We organize our age classes according to the reference given by the French national education system, based on thoughtful and recognized neuro psychological studies. The emotional maturity of the child is at the basis of this chronology. Respecting the biological, emotional and neurological rhythms of learnersis a guarantee of successfor their future academic journey.

Enrolment into pre-kindergarten is for 2 years old student (the child must be 2 years old before the end of the enrolment year). The curriculum follows accordingly (K1, 3years old – K2, 4 years old – K3 5 years old). The child will reach primary at 6 and will progress from there till the age of 10 (in year 5).

Entry into primary school will therefore be at the age of 6 and will end upon their entry into fifth grade at the age of 10.

Some children have different paths either prematurely or later in their development. We address these different situations with a team of professionals and rely on tangible data collected from neuro psychological tests validated by specialists. Differentiated pedagogy will then be established within the framework of an educational contract accepted by all parties.

Admission procedure

  1. Fill the application form IBSA application form

  2. Provide all the enrolment documents :
    • 1 extrait de naissance
    • Les relevés de notes de l’année précédente
    • La Fiche de renseignements médicaux 
    • La Fiche d’inscription 
    • Dans le cas d’enfant à haut potentiel ou autres besoins spécifiques : Les résultats d’un test neuro-psychopédagogique sont exigés.

  4. Finaliser le processus d’inscription
